Karl E. Rosborough is a longtime Houston resident that hails from Longview, Texas.  In 1985, he graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. After graduation, he was commissioned into the United States Army, serving in the Military Police Corp as a 2nd Lieutenant. After his service in the military, Mr. Rosborough joined the Houston Police Department in 1994. In 2001, he answered the call of his nation and returned to active duty with the United States Army. In 2011, he obtained his master’s degree from Excelsior College of Liberal Arts. After 28 years of proud and honorable service in the United States Army, he obtained the rank of Colonel, later retiring in 2014. In 2020, after earning the rank of senior police officer and 25 years of exemplary service Mr. Rosborough retired from the Houston Police Department. Mr. Rosborough continues to uplift the community through volunteering, while also being an active member of the Mu Mu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Inc.
